I grew up in a country where unfair political practices marginalised people and resulted in conflict. The freedom fighters (ANC) where branded as terrorists - until the racist Apartheid South African government came to it's senses and negotiated a settlement and moved through a peaceful but difficult transition process. So let's look at some parallels.

We live in a world in which unfair political and business practices marginalise the environment, animals, biodiversity and some people. Some of the freedom fighters (climate activists) are branded as protesters and are subject to violence and intimidation. I wonder whether there can be a negotiated settlement for this ongoing drama?
